The freely given, unmerited favors that people bestow upon one another supports the universal flow of grace. When a friend or acquaintance offers kind support, it’s as though there is an expansion of positive energy. This positive energy creates ripples through the earth, the air and the water, like a pebble falling into a pond.
There is elegance and a pleasing quality about living in a state of grace. Doing good will for people, animals and nature raises a person’s vibration to a higher level. Graceful acts of kindness strengthen our love quotient, and make us feel good. Random deeds of thoughtfulness say something about you, and it shows that you have elegance and a benevolent nature.
Angels flow in a state of continual grace, helping people with their lives and asking nothing in return. We can do the same in our earthly bodies. Our thoughts and actions can flow in grace, and create ripples of love throughout the world.
When you have the chance, do something kind for another person. You can open doors for others, let someone go before you in a line, or pick an item up for the person who dropped it. Little acts of kindness go a long way, and they can help change a person’s mood from melancholy to cheerful.
We all long for suffering to end here on Earth, and yet peace seems elusive in our world of conflict and struggle. Now is the time for change, and we can all take part in creating a better world with our intentions and our actions. During the Holiday season is the time when most people think of giving to others, but if we make giving a yearlong practice, we can help create those ripples of positive energy. Gracious acts of kindness, gratitude and embracing life as a work of art to be cherished allows for spiritual growth.
Everyone has a different perspective of what he or she may be going through, or what another person may be experiencing. Being able to step out of one’s self and view situations from a higher vantage point or perspective helps us to better understand the valuable lessons of life; thus, we can make changes accordingly for our personal growth and fulfillment. By seeing another person’s situation from a higher vantage point, we can have more empathy and be more gracious.
A graceful act of kindness strengthens our ability to love more, and helps us to feel good. Ifwe do more acts of kindness for one another, and more and more people join in and “pay it forward” to the next person who needs an act of kindness, then maybe… just maybe… we could slowly change the world, and live in peace, harmony and a state of grace.
